The Parish Council

The Parish Council has the intention of maintaining and improving the quality of the village and of the lives of those residents within it.

Areas of interest include the burial ground, crime prevention, lighting, litter, open spaces, planning, playing fields, rights of way, roadside verges, seats, shelters and signs, etc.

 

Planning Applications

The Parish Council reviews all planning applications affecting the parish. We then pass our comments to West Suffolk Council which they may take into account when they make their decision to permit, deny or permit with conditions.

Accounts

Parish Council accounts are audited annually by an  internal auditor and if necessary may be sent to an external auditor who is appointed by the Audit Commission.
